Promoting aerospace collaboration

MicroSys puts its efforts in bavAIRia e.V.

MicroSys has joined bavAIRia e.V., the association commissioned by the German state of Bavaria to manage the region’s aerospace cluster and to increase the global competitiveness of its members. MicroSys dedicates its efforts within this competence network of representatives from industry and research on furthering the digitization of avionics and space applications as well as autonomous flight. MicroSys develops and manufactures functionally safe embedded computing platforms for these application areas and hopes to strengthen its position within the think tank of the Bavarian and European aerospace cluster through its engagement. Since bavAIRia e.V. is a member of the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP), MicroSys also gains access to this association of currently 45 European aerospace organizations from 18 countries. EACP serves as a platform for mutual exchange and the initiation of transnational projects. EACP, in its turn, is one of 13 European networks included in the EU funding program ESCP (European Strategic Cluster Partnership).

Typical MicroSys products for aerospace applications are state-of-the-art processor and interface modules that come complete with a verification chain for future certifications. One example is the miriac® MPX-S32G399A System-on-Module, which is based on NXP’s innovative S32G Vehicle Network Processors.
