The serial line driver module IO485 converts TTL signals to the RS485 standard. RTS controls transmit enable. Line termination and fail-safe resistors are already provided (option). Through its compatibility to IO232, IO422 and IOTTL it's easy to adapt MicroSys boards to different physical layers.
