The CR826 Carrier Board for miriac PM826/825 modules is the fastest way to get familiar with PowerQUICCII processors. It offers five serial ports (SMC2, SCC1..4) and a 100MBit Ethernet. Only an ATX power supply is needed and you dispose of five serial ports (SCC1..4, SMC2) and one 100MBit Ethernet (FCC1). On the SCC ports the physical layer may be changed from RS232 to RS422, RS485 or TTL by the use of MicroSys IO-modules. Digital I/Os may be simulated with a 8bit DIP switch and 8 LEDs. All PowerQUICCII I/Os are accessible on filed of wrap pins that allows also plugging in customized boards. Other connectors make the Local Bus or PCI (with PM825) available. A version with ATM (155MBit) and different ISDN standards is available, too.
