DPC2
The Semi-Rugged DPC2 is populated with Pentium III running at 500 MHz and up to 512 MB SDRAM. Front panel I/O includes SVGA, 10/100BaseT and mouse/keyboard. Two PMC sites offers maximum I/O flexibility in a single slot. An IDE, floppy drive interface second LAN port, USB, game port, COM1/2, LPT1, and other standard PC I/O are routed to a rear plug-in expansion card behind the backplane (IDE and floppy also available on-board). PMC ports accessible from front panel or rear. Optional transition board provides hard drive and either floppy or CD-ROM drive in adjoining slot (total of two slots with both boards) and includes second 10/100BaseTX interface. DPC2 versions with extended operating temperature range are available. The DPC2 supports a wide array of OS such as Windows NT, Embedded NT, RTX, QNX, VxWorks, pSOS+, Solaris, LynxOS and Linux.

- Single Slot
Single-slot VMEbus operation with on-board CompactFlash disk for bootable mass storage.
- DRAM
128 MB SDRAM installed. DIMM module for up to 256 MB additional memory. Maximum 384 MB SDRAM available.
- BIOS
General Software's flash-based system BIOS, upgradeable via floppy. BIOS can be customized to customer specifications.
- VMEbus
Tundra Universe IID PCI-VMEbus interface provides 64-bit VMEbus transfer rates over 30 MB/sec. FIFOs permit write-posting to maximize available PCI and VMEbus bandwidth. Full Slot 1 (system controller) functions provided. Lower cost versions available without VMEbus.
- SVGA
Asiliant's 69030 AGP compatible graphics controller 4 MB of SDRAM is built into the chip. Maximum Resolution/Color/Refresh Rate: 1600 x 1200 x 64K colors @ 60 Hz.
- PMC Expansion
One PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) position in VMEbus single-slot form factor. Optional PMC carrier (XPMC3) provides three PMC positions (requires additional slot). PMC I/O can be accessed via front panel or P2.
- Ethernet
Intel's 82559 Fast Ethernet Controller with 10/100Base-TX support.
- IDE Support
Primary Ultra DMA IDE Interface with improved transfer rates. PIO and Bus Master support, Secondary IDE port for CompactFlash. CompactFlash supports on-board booting for flash-based and mechanical storage
- Floppy Support
Floppy drive controller, with support for drives up to 2.88 MB.
- Watchdog
Programmable watchdog timer for system recovery
- Optional Ultra 2 SCSI
Symbios' 53C875 Ultra SCSI Controller with data transfer rates to 40 MB/sec.
- Serial I/O
COM1 and COM2 serial ports, based on 16C550 compatible UARTs, 16-byte transmit and receive FIFOs. Either port can be configured for RS232 or RS422/485 operation.
- Parallel I/O
LPT1 parallel port, capable of standard, bidirectional, enhanced parallel port (EPP), and enhanced capabilities port (ECP) operation. IEEE 1284 compliant.
- Device Support
On-chip keyboard, mouse controller. One PS/2 connector supports both keyboard and mouse.
- Front Panel I/O
COM1 (9-pin D-type), Keyboard/Mouse on one mini-DIN, VGA (15-pin D-type), RJ-45 (for 10/100BaseTX).
- Rear I/O Expansion
SCSI, COM2, LPT1, PMC I/O routed out a five row VME64 P2 connector. Optionally, IDE and FDC are also routed out the five row VME64 P2 connector (this option is only available when SCSI-2 is not populated).

- TBP Transition Board
Can be offered with two slot wide front panel (in combination with DPC2) or two separate front panels so that it can be separated from DPC2 for embedded environment: Supports 2,5 inch IDE hard drive and either CD-ROM or floppy drive. Transition board which provides SCSI2 connector and COM2 connector (DB9) on front panel. Two USB ports provided if SCSI is not required. Other interfaces include LPT1 connector (26-pin dual-row ribbon cable connector), flat panel interface (60-pin dual row header). Transition board can be mounted above or below (as pictured) the XPC2 processor board.
- XPC2PTB Peripheral Transition Board
Rear plug-in peripheral transition board with connectors for Ultra SCSI, COM2, and LPT1. Floppy and rear I/O interface connectors for PMC cards are included in versions with 5-row P1 and P2 interfaces. Optional versions without PMC I/O or floppy interface and with three row P1 and P2. The DPC2 allows routing of IDE to SCSI connector (when SCSI option not used).
- XPMC3 PMC Carrier
Carrier for 3 PMC cards (requires additional slot) can be provided with single front panel, double-wide front panel (in combination with DPC2) or three-slot wide front panel (in combination with DPC2 and DRC1TB).
