The CU824 board is both, fast and flexible. Based on the Kahlua, the fastest G2 PowerPC, it offers impressive computing performance. And it has something unique: A PCI port is available at the bottom side that allows for extensions to the right, the left and downwards. Select from a variety of PCI daughter boards, like a 100MBit Ethernet piggyback, a PMC carrier board (8HP), a carrier board for desktop PC style PCI daughter boards (12HP), or simply design your own PCI extension to the CU824. You may look at the CU824 as a VMEbus - PCI hybrid, or even a compact stand-alone solution. The CU824 is also available with SUBD-9 connectors and for the extended temperature range.
