The IP360 is an universal 3U VMEbus CPU based on Freescale's MC68EN360 'Quicc' processor. This chip features numerous powerful serial ports like Ethernet, UART, HDLC and many more. An intelligent piggyback system makes all ports accessible on the IP360. They may be configured to various physical layers like 10BaseT, AUI, RS232, RS422, RS485, TTL,... A maximum of two IndustryPack slots makes the IP360 extremely versatile and suitable also for bus-less applications. The IP360 disposes also of a flexible connectivity system: The board's front end with the I/O connectors may be replaced. The IP360 comes basically with 50pin FRC connectors. Any other connectivity can be realised. The IP360 is available for the extended temperature range (-40°..+85°C), too.
