| 18/07/2006 | Since 3 months now the MicroSys miriac™ Power PC Modul PM520 with the Freescale MPC5200 (400MHz) is supported from logiCAD (kirchner SOFT), the IEC 61131-compatible programming system from kirchner Soft. With this system the PM520 can be used in the various applications in the area of industrial automation, as the normal knowledge of programming a PLC is sufficient. As there is C code generated automatically, even larger PLC programs are executed in minimal cycle times. The PLC runtime system RTS in addition contains a WebServer, which allows the visualization of the runtime data in general web pages. A connection of the RTS via OPCServer is integrated as well to allow the visualization of the runtime data in Windows based systems.
